Mighty Little Energy Balls

We should call these “Little Mighty Energy Balls” as they are perfect as an anytime snack when you need an energy boost. Pop a couple in your mouth before a workout and wow pow! Or anytime as a tasty treat. They are our go-to snack and the base is interchangeable with lots of different ingredients to make many flavor combinations!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup cashews (or almonds)
1 cup pitted dates
1 TBSP vanilla

ADDITIONS:
1/4 cup cacao powder
Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg
Coconut or chopped walnuts
Almond or peanut butter
Cacao nibs

DIRECTIONS
1. Mix nuts together in a food processor
2. Add dates and vanilla
3. Form into balls
4. Pop into the freezer
