The Wellness Wagon: Bringing Wellness to You

Our nonprofit mission at One Day to Wellness is to bring the wellness message and evidence-based nutritional education to the masses, without any industry bias or influence. We pride ourselves on providing education and resources to all, from fitness professionals to health coaches and everyone who wants to see an improvement in their own and their loved ones' health and wellness.

Our One Day to Wellness Wellness Wagon tour will be traveling to towns all over North America and will be stopping along the way to provide free lectures, seminars, and workshops. Please check our schedule to see if we are in a city near you! We are asking for your help to fuel our efforts - literally. By spreading the word about our upcoming events, you are our ground game. We need your voice!

And unfortunately, the wellness wagon doesn’t run on broccoli alone; we are asking you and like-minded companies you may know to help fuel the tour - with fuel. Our Fuel Fund is a tax-deductible donation that will help us reach as many people as possible. We also have terrific thank you gifts, as you can see below.

Together, we can create a shift in wellness across our country.

Thanks so much for your support.

- Bruce and Mindy

Read Our Story

What if a cancer diagnosis isn’t an ending? What if it opens the door to a new chapter that feels even better than the ones before it?

So it goes for Bruce and Mindy Mylrea, who are turning Bruce’s cancer battle into an epic road trip with a singular mission: Educate as many people as possible about the power of plant-based living in preventing disease, treating disease, and improving overall quality of life. Starting in February 2017, the founders of One Day to Wellness are trading their beachfront Santa Cruz, Ca. home for a Winnebago RV wrapped in a mural of their trademark fruits and veggies. They will travel the nation in this Wellness Wagon, operating as a nonprofit organization that brings evidence-based nutritional education to the masses, free of industry bias or influence.

"Life is about moments that teach us and make us more then where we are right now,” Mindy said. "We are who we are because of all that we wade through, and Bruce and I are doing this because we are so passionate about helping others take control of their health so that they don’t have to face a cancer diagnosis like we did. Bruce is the best proof that how we eat and live affects how we feel - and how our bodies deal with disease. How could we NOT share this with as many people as possible?"

Bruce and Mindy will provide free lectures, seminars and workshops at fitness conferences and in gyms, fitness boutiques, schools, offices - wherever they can get a platform for the message that has become their shared passion. The Wellness Wagon departs from Santa Cruz on Feb. 15 and heads to Tomball, TX. From there, Bruce and Mindy will travel from one corner of the country to another, and back again — ending up in southwest Florida by year’s end.

With more than three dozen events already scheduled for 2018, Bruce and Mindy are on track to reach a record number of people with their powerful nutrition education, which was born out of Bruce’s desire to educate himself following a diagnosis of prostate cancer in 2011. He became a plant-based eater soon after learning he had prostate cancer. So did Mindy. Today, in spite of tests showing he still has prostate cancer, Bruce feels and looks healthier than ever, something he credits to his nutrition and wellness-focused lifestyle. They developed the One Day to Wellness certification in 2015 and hosted over 40 workshops in 2016, as more and more people expressed a desire to immerse themselves in nutritional education.

“When we started One Day to Wellness in 2016, we knew we had something special,” said Bruce. “But we had no idea that this desire to share what we had learned about the power of nutrition - would change the trajectory of our lives and give us the chance to change so many other lives. We also had no idea so many people would be asking for this information. But as we saw the demand, we knew the best way to meet it was to go to the people."

The Wellness Wagon journey will give Bruce and Mindy scheduling freedom to host more workshops, from free one-hour lectures to daylong One Day to Wellness Certifications. Offerings include:
  • Coaching & Cooking: This workshop is designed for coaches who have completed the One Day to Wellness program. This additional program will teach the strategic implementation of many details of the One Day to Wellness program plus how to cook delicious plant-based meals.
  • Fluid Strength: This is the newest movement creation from Mindy. Fluid Strength introduces attendees to miraculous movements with integrated and challenging patterns of flowing perfection. In this 4-hour training, earn CECs, gain access to online educational program materials, and learn a new method of creating movement that matters.
  • One Hour to Wellness: In addition to the daylong workshops, Bruce and Mindy will offer free community lectures as a part of their nonprofit mission.
There will be no cost for facilities to host the workshops. And supporters can fuel the Wellness Wagon by donating to the “Fuel Fund” at onedaytowellness.org. To schedule a visit from the Wellness Wagon, go to onedaytowellness.org
